Patrick Brennan married Catherine (Kate) Egan. He was working as a groom/coachman at Bishopscourt,
the estate of John Henry Scott, Earl of Clonmel between 1864 and 1876.
1 John Brennan born 14 Aug 1864 at Bishopscourt married Elizabeth Mickley, daughter of Charles
Mickley, a bricklayer/mason and Sophia Gardner of Towcester on 25 Aug 1891 at Kill RC Church.
John was working at Platten Hall in 1893, the estate of the Gradwells. Elizabeth’s step-sister Harriet
Mary Mickley was also living in Oldtown when she married John Deegan on 8 Aug 1897 at Naas RC
Church. The Deegans moved to Cecilstown, near Kanturk.
John was living on the Oldtown estate of Thomas de Burgh in 1901, and in 1911 he was working as
a gardener and living at one of the lodges at Thornhill, the estate of Thomas Talbot Power of Stillorgan.
Elizabeth died at 28 Kickham street on 25 Feb 1933 age 64 and John died 7 Apr 1935 at 29 Kickham
Street, Clonmel.

Clonmel in 1935.
