1 William Parsons Annesley Ball-Acton born 21.03.1871, died of Meningitis on 15.04.1883 aged
12 years at Tunbridge Wells.
2 Evelyn Caroline Annesley Ball-Acton born 29.01.1873 married Edward Nixon Wynne son of
George Wynne on 03.11.1898 at St John’s, Boxmoor, Hemel Hemstead. They lived at
Wentworth House, Wicklow. Evelyn died on 04.11.1965 aged 92 years.
3 Grace Annesley Ball-Acton 2nd daughter born 23.12.1874 and died unmarried on 05.12.1923
aged 48 years at Chester.
4 Charles Ball-Acton born 14.02.1876 killed in action on 25.09.1915 aged 39 years.
5 Major Reginald Thomas Annesley Ball-Acton born 02.10.1877 at Kilmacurragh married Isabel
Richmond second daughter of late Rev William Richmond, Vicar of Rockhampton, Gloucester
on 17.04.1913 at Iron Acton, St James the Less, Gloucester. Reginald killed in action on
26.05.1916 at Ypres aged 38 years.
1 Charles Acton born 25.04.1914 only son of Reginald and Isabel married Carol Little
elder daughter of late Francis Thompson Little of Clabby, Tyrone on 06.03.1951.
Charles father died when he was two and he was educated at a sucession of English
prep schools. His home was Kilmacurragh in County Wicklow which he was obliged to
sell in 1944. He purchased Stradbrook House with his mother. Charles, late Music Critic
of the Irish Times died at his home Carrickmines Station.
Isabel Acton married Hugh Norman Digues La Touche on 28.08.1920 at Christ Church,
Bournemouth. She purchased Stradbrook House with her son Charles where she
lived before from 1946 until she moved into a nursing home in 1969 and died two years
later.
6 Vere Annesley Acton born on 22.04.1879 killed in action on 19.02.1900 aged 20 years at
Paardeburg, South Africa.
7 Irene Annesley Ball-Acton born 21.10.1883 died unmarried at Kilmacanogue on 21.04.1966
aged 82 years.
