Stephen Woulfe born circa 1752 at Tiermaclane near Ennis married Honora McNamara
daughter of Michael McNamara of Dublin and grand-daughter of John McNamara of Crinagh,
Clare, sister of Admiral James McNamara and Col John McNamara. Stephen died in Liege in
Belgium in 1794. Honora died at Fitzwilliam Square in July 1831.

2 Johanna Woulfe 3rd daughter born circa 1780 married Terence Flanagan of St
Catherine’s Park, Leixlip eldest son of T Flanagan of Clogher, Roscommon circa
18.05.1813. Johanna died circa 06.02.1837 at Ely Place.
1 John Woulfe Flanagan eldest son born circa 1815 married Susan O’Loghlen
daughter of Right Hon Sir Michael O’Loghlenon on 14.09.1848 at Drumconora,
Roscommon.
2 The Right Honorable Stephen Woulfe Flanagan born 04.08.1816 a Judge in the
Court of Chancery married Mary Josephine Deborah Corballis daughter of John R
Corballis on 17.02.1851 at St Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Westland Row.
Stephen died on 06.12.1891 aged 75 years late of 20 Fitzwilliam Place.
1 John Woulfe Flanagan eldest son a Journalist married his cousin Mary Emily
Shiel 2nd daughter of late Sir Justin Shiel on 29.04.1880 at the Church of the
Oratory, Brompton.
2 Stephen Woulfe-Flanagan married Eleanor Gertrude MacTernan daughter of
Hugh McTernan of Heapstown, Sligo on 19.10.1898 at the Roman Catholic
Chapel at Ballyrush.
3 Terence Wolfe Flanagan born circa 1819 a railway engineer died on 13.12.1859
aged 41 years in London.
3 Stephen Woulfe 2nd and younger son born circa 1787 qualified as a solicitor in 1814
married Mary Frances Hamill eldest daughter of Roger Hamill of Mount Street and Dowth
Hall, Meath on 09.07.1821 at St Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Westland Row. Stephen
became Lord Chief Baron of Ireland in 1838 and the lived at Wickham. He suffered from
ill health and died on 02.07.1840 at Baden Baden. Mary Frances died on All Souls Day
01.11.1869 at 13 Eaton Place, London.
1 Stephen Roland Woulfe only son an ensign of the 54th Regiment married Hon
Isabella Letitia Graves youngest daughter of late Lord Graves on 09.06.1853 at the
Parish Church Walquinghen, Pas de Calais. Stephen Inherited the family estates of
Tiermaclane from his uncle Peter in 1865. Isabella died on 26.10.1870 in London.
2 Mary Ann Leonora Woulfe married Sir Justin Sheil on 07.05.1849 in Paris, France.
Mary died on 03.08.1869 at Kilmactalway, Celbridge, Dublin and Justin died on
18.04.1871 at his residence Eaton Place, London.
1 Maria Emily Sheil 2nd daughter married her cousin John Woulfe Flanagan a
journalist eldest son of Stephen Woulfe Flanagan on 29.04.1880 at the Church
of the Oratory, Brompton.
2 Laura Mary Sheil 3rd daughter married Pedro Juan de Zulueta son of the
Count de Torre Diaz on 25.05.1875 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Cadogan
Terrace, Chelsea.
