James Toohy born 1859 in Queen’s County, son of Peter Toohy, a labourer. James, a labourer
of Mackey’s Terrace married Elizabeth Delaney on 6 Sep 1887 at St Andrew’s Church,
Westland Row. Elizabeth was living at Mackey’s Terrace and was the daughter of the late
William Delaney. Elizabeth died after giving birth on 3 Dec 1895 at Emo, her sister Mary Delany
of Killimy was present at her death. James a railway miles man (labourer on a section of track)
living at Killimy, Emo, Queen’s County in 1901.

Lacumber at Emo Church on 15 Jun 1921. Jane was the daughter of James Lacumber, a
labourer.

2 Ellen Twohey born 24 Sep 1890 at Killimy, Queens County. Ellen was working as a house
and parlourmaid for the Trench family of Coolgreaney, Dundrum in 1911. She was living
at Mount Pleasant Parade and married John Albert Mons on 9 Feb 1926 at Our Lady of
Refuge Church in Rathmines. John, a motor mechanic was the son of George Mons, a clerk
in a bedding factory and Christina Griffin. John died 14 Nov 1967 and was buried with his
parents in Mount Jerome. Elizabeth died on 17 Sep 1978 and was buried with her husband.
3 Kate Toohy born 29 Jun 1882 at Ballykillane, Emo.
4 Peter James Twohey born 2 May 1894 at Ballyculane, Emo. He was living at Morett near Emo
with his sister Maggie in 1911. Possible marriage to Catherine White in 1945.
5 Margaret (Maggie) Tooey born 11 Nov 1895 living at Morett near Emo with her brother Peter
in 1911. Margaret married Michael Crossan on 29 Sep 1920 at Maryborough Church.
