James born circa 1820 was steward/gardener at Merville from 1876 to 1890.  He died
14 Oct 1890 at Merville, Foster Avenue, Margaret Delany the informant.  He was buried at
Deansgrange with the Delany girls.

1           Margaret Ryan it is thought Margaret possibly the daughter of James and that she
             married a Thomas Delany a printer/compositor).

             1         Ellen Delany born circa 1866 died 24 May 1878 at Merville, Ellen Ryan the
                        informant.  She was buried at Deansgrange and James Ryan made the funeral
                        arrangements.

             2         Lucy Delany born circa 1870 died 1 Nov 1876 at Merville, Ellen Ryan the informant. 
                        She was buried at Deansgrange and James Ryan made the funeral arrangements.

             3         Florence Delany born circa 1875 died 19 Jul 1877 at Merville, Margaret Delany the
                        informant.  She was buried at Deansgrange and James Ryan made the funeral
                        arrangements.
