William Sutherland Lowe born circa 1848 at Westmeath son of Thomas Lowe, a tradesman.
He married Maria Rice on 5.07.1873 at the parish church, Trim. Maria was the daughter of
John Rice. William was a master tailor and Registrar of Marriages Maria died 21.06.1907 at
Trim, the informant her daughter Millie. William died 07.07.1924 at Trim, the informant his
son John.
1 Mary Anne Lowe born 26.05.1874 at Trim living at home in 1901 and 1911.
2 John Thomas Lowe born 19.05.1876 at Trim. In 1901. John was working as a draper’s
assistant in Galway. John married Mary Jane Hifle daughter of the late Samuel Hifle on
06.02.1907 in the Methodist Church, Tralee. By 1911 they were living in Manchester
and John was working as a manager.
3 Rachel Millicent Lowe born 03.11.1878 at Trim. In 1901 Rachel was working as a nurse/
domestic for the Blair White family at Ashton Park, Monkstown. She was living at home
in 1907 when her mother died. It is thought the Rachel died at Hampstead, London in
1919.
4 Elizabeth Jane Lowe born 25.07.1883 in Trim living at home in 1901 and 1911.
5 Kathleen Lowe born 25.08.1890 in Trim and died 01.12.1890 aged 3 months at same
place.
