Edward Mitchell born circa 1860 youngest son of William Mitchell of Whitepark, Brooksborough.
He married Margaret Wadsworth on 06.01.1887 at Newtownbutler Church, Fermanagh.
Margaret was the second daughter of John Wadsworth of Dromralla, Newtownbutler. Edward
was elected an MP for North Fermanagh in 1903 until 1906. He was appointed assistant land
commissioner and a JP in 1910. The family lived at Prospect Hall, Roebuck from 1910 to 1914
and were at Rosario, Temple Gardens by 1916. Edward died 19.06.1921 at Rosario, Temple
Gardens, his son Henry the informant. He is buried at Mount Jerome. Margaret died 24.02.1933
at Wicklow Lodge, Snaresbrook and is buried at Mount Jerome.
1 William John Mitchell eldest son born 18.06.1888 at Whitepark, Lisnaskea, Fermanagh.
Willliam of Kells, Meath married Jeanie Kelso daughter of Willliam Henry Kelso of The
Thorn, Castlewray, Letterkenny circa 09.02.1927. Frances died on 09.08.1951 aged 71
years and William died on 04.12.1964 aged 76 years both of Collinstown House, Leixlip.
2 Jane Mitchell a Twin born 18.10.1889 at Whitepark. Jane married David Strain Gillespie
son of William Gillespie on 01.09.1920. Janie died 03.01.1958 aged 67 years at 63 Orwell
Road, Rathgar and is buried at Mount Jerome.
3 Margaret Mitchell a Twin born 18.10.1889 at Whitepark. Margaret died 20.07.1968.
4 Henry Victor Mitchell born 08.02.1891 at Derryvullen. Henry died unmarried on
18.01.1929 aged 37 years at 28 Upper Merrion Street of Wicklow Lodge, Woodford Road,
Snaresbrook, Essex and is buried at Mount Jerome.
5 Herbert Mitchell born 05.08.1893 at Derryvullen. Lieut Herbert Mitchell qualified from
Trinity and joined the RAMC and was wounded in France in 1916.
6 Dr Edward Mitchell youngest son born 31.08.1896 at Derryvullen. Edward married Isabel
Joslin only daughter of David Joslin of Broomhill, West Thurrock, Essex on 29.08.1933 in
Upminster. Edward died on 11.01.1949 at the Royal Bucks Hospital, Aylesbury of the
Hollows, Little Horwood near Bletchley, Buckinghamshire.
7 Evelyn Mitchell 13.03.1900 at Derryvullen. Eva married Arthur Havers of Norwich and
Pinner on 03.10.1946 at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, London.

Edward Mitchell born circa 1860 youngest son of William Mitchell of Whitepark, Brooksborough.
