Patrick McGuinness born circa 1855 son of John McGuinness a soldier. He was a baker of
Nenagh when he married Ellen Lyons of Nenagh on 17.04.1869 at Nenagh. Ellen was the
daughter of John Lyons. Patrick died 16.11.1884 at Silver Street, Nenagh, the informant his
aunt Mary. Ellen died 26.07.1923 at Silver Street, Nenagh, the informant Nellie Carroll.
1 Thomas McGuinness born 24.01.1870 at Silver Street. Thomas a baker was unmarried
and living with his mother in 1901 & 1911.
2 John McGuinness born 21.04.1872 at William Street died on 10.12.1875 aged 4 years
at Silver Street.
3 Catherine McGuinness born 24.06.1874 at Silver Street, Nenagh. Catherine a servant
at Yapton, Monkstown working for the McCormick family. She married John Carroll of
Ballycorus, Glencullen on 22.07.1900 at St Michael’s Catholic Church, Kingstown. John
was a labourer and the son of Simon Carroll, a labourer and Mary Townsend. In 1911
Kathleen and John were living in Ballycorus and John was a labourer in the lead works.
