Nicholas Maguire born circa 1849 son of Nicholas Maguire. He was a tobacco spinner of
159 Jervis Street when he married Martha Ebbs on 07.12.1875 at Booterstown Roman
Catholic Church. Martha was a servant at Craigmore, Blackrock and the daughter of John
and Esther Ebbs. Nicholas died 25.05.1898 at 5 Hall’s Cottages, the informant his widow
Martha. Martha died at 5 Halls Cottages on 26.09.1900, her daughter Christina the
informant. The family were at Ushers Quay in 1901 and Crow Street in 1911. By 1926
they were living at Forbes Lane, Usher Quay.

2 Christina Maguire born 21.12.1877 at 3 Liffey Street West baptised at St Paul’s.
Christina died on 02.01.1944 aged 60 years at 3 Forbes Lane. Informant her
brother Thomas.
3 Mary Maguire born 21.12.1879 at 3 Liffey Street West. Mary worked for Jacob's
Biscuit factory in 1926.
4 Patrick Maguire baptised 24.04.1881 at St Paul’s of 3 Liffey Street.
5 Esther Maguire born 29.03.1883 at 4 Bow Lane Bridge.
6 Thomas Maguire born 27.06.1885 at 4 Bow Bridge. Thomas a tobacco apprentice
in 1911 worked for Jacobs Biscuit factory in 1926. Thomas, a widower died on
13.07.1945 aged 54 years at Dr Steeven’s Hospital late of 3 Forbes Cottages, Grand
Canal.
