Robert Richard Warren born 03.06.1817 only son of Captain Henry Warren and Catherine
Stewart of Wellington Place, Cork and Fairy Hill, Monkstown. He was the grandson of Sir Robert
Warren 1st Baronet of Warrenscourt. He graduated Trinity and was called to the bar in 1839.
He was a barrister and he married Mary Perry on 24.03.1846 at Cork Cathedral. Mary was the
second daughter of the late Charles Perry of Adelaide Place, Cork. He was appointed QC in
1858. Robert was Solicitor General for Ireland from March 1867 and Attorney-General for
Ireland from October 1867 to 1868. The Rt Hon Robert Richard Warren late of 12 Fitzwilliam
Square, President of the Court of Probate in Ireland died 24.09.1897 at Dalguise, Monkstown
and he is buried at Mount Jerome. He left 35k in person estate and probate to his son Henry.
Mary died 17.06.1913 aged 97 at 12 Fitzwilliam Square and is buried at Mount Jerome. She
left 13k in personal estate; probate to her son Henry.
1 Alicia Edith Gundred (Edyth) Warren born 15.01.1847 at 7 Upper Mount Street baptised
on 08.04.1847 at St Peter’s Church. Edyth was living with her mother at Fitzwilliam Square
in 1901. She died unmarried on 22.10.1939 aged 92 years at Elmhurst, Glasnevin late of
Raglan Road, Dublin and is buried at Mount Jerome.
2 Katherine Florence Elizabeth Warren of 7 Upper Mount Street baptised on 13.08.1849 at
St Peter’s Church mentioned in her father’s will in 1897.
3 Henry Charles Jackson Warren only son born 20.01.1852 at 7 Upper Mount Street baptised
a St Peter’s Church 10 Mar 1852. He was of 12 Fitzwilliam Square and married Florence
Handcock of 21 Westbourne Place 2nd daughter of late Colonel Hon Robert French
Handcock on 29.12.1877 at St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge. Henry died on 05.04.1937 in
Middlesex.
1 Dorothy Mary Augusta Warren born 22.12.1880 in Dublin married Christopher Henry
Robinson on 09.03.1912 at the Parish Church of St Peter, Dublin. Christopher of
Lis-na-Carig, Foxrock was an inspector with the Local Government Board and the
eldest son of Sir Henry Augustus Robinson and Harriet Blosse. Christopher wrote
the ‘The Last of the Irish RM’s in 1951 and was uncle to Evie Hone, the artist.
2 Marjorie Helen Amy Warren baptised on 23.08.1884 at St Peter’s Church. Marjorie
died on 20.06.1866 aged 23 months at 66 Harcourt Street.
3 Winifred Annette Warren youngest daughter born 1889 Dublin of Derrintovey,
Carrickmines married Lieutenant Guy Edward Cooper RN youngest son of late Major
Francis Cooper on 15.10.1917 in London. In 1921 they were living in London.
4 Desmond Cecil Robert Warren born 21.04.1895 at 71 Stephens Green. Desmond
married Violet Arabella Lasbrey daughter of Frederick Oakley Lasbrey on 13.08.1929
at the Chapel of the Savoy in London.
4 Mary Gertrude Helen Warren born 12.11.1854 at 7 Mount Street baptised on 01.01.1855
at St Peter’s Church. She was living with her mother in 1901 and 1911. Mary Helen died
unmarried on 11.05.1946 late of Glasnevin and left 17k in personal estate. She is buried
at Mount Jerome with her sister Edyth.
5 Elizabeth Maud Glentworth Warren baptised on 10.04.1861 at St Stephen’s Church.
Bessie died in 1862.

Robert Richard Warren born 03.06.1817 only son of Captain Henry Warren and Catherine
