Rev Edward Lloyd of Kilmastulla born circa 1755 son of Rickard Lloyd and Mary Armstrong. He
married Dania Connor on 22.02.1794 at Woodsdown, Waterford. Dania was the daughter of
the late Daniel Connor of Woodsdown. Rev Edward was rector of Abington and died in June
1810. Dania died 21.01.1848 late of Prince Edward Terrace, Blackrock and was buried at
Mount Jerome. Probate left administered by her daughter Dania, was granted to Dania
Thomas in 1878.
1 Rickard Lloyd born circa 1795 in Limerick educated Trinity BA in 1815 and MA in 1832
took Holy orders. He was rector of Tower Hill, Pallis Green, Limerick.
2 Alicia Jane Lloyd born circa 1796 married John Howlin on 04.12.1826 at St Ann’s Church,
Dublin.
3 Edward Lloyd 2nd son born circa 1798 married Anne Going in 1828 eldest daughter of
Robert Going of Cragg, Newport circa 04.08.1828 at Newport Church. Edward died on
27.03.1850 aged 53 years at his residence 12 Upper Mount Street and is buried at Mount
Jerome. Anne died on 30.01.1883 at 12 Upper Mount Street, Dublin.
1 Dania Jane Lloyd 2nd daughter born circa 1832. Dania of 12 Upper Mount Street
married Rev George Norris of Hopton, Norfolk youngest son of Charles Norris on
28.04.1859 at St Peter’s Church, Dublin.
2 Marcella Lloyd 3rd daughter baptised 29.07.1833 at St Peter’s died on 25.04.1837
aged 3 years and 9 months and buried at Mount Jerome.
3 Edward Lloyd baptised on 22.10.1835 at St Peter’s.
4 Robert Lloyd baptised on 22.10.1835 at St Peter’s.
5 Marcella Frances Lloyd baptised on 03.09.1838 at St Peter’s
6 John Rickard Lloyd baptised on 14.09.1842 at St Peter’s died unmarried on
19.07.1910 aged 60 years late of Traverston, Tipperary. Probate to Charles Going.
7 Henry William Lloyd died 31.03.1843 aged 7 weeks and buried at Mount Jerome.
4 William Thomas Lloyd 3rd son born circa 1800 a barrister-at-law married Maria Isabella
Leech youngest daughter of late William Ansdell Leech of Aspeon, Mayo on 27.02.1845
at Ballybrook Church. William died 1857 aged 57 years and is buried at Mount Jerome.
Maria died 02.11.1892 aged 76 years at Ardee House, Byrnes Hill.
5 Dania Letitia Lloyd born circa 1802 died unmarried on 08.09.1882 aged 80 years late of
Prospect House, Ballycumber, Kings County. Probate to Dania Thomas of the Rectory,
Barnane, Templemore, Tipperary.
6 John Thomas Lloyd born 11.09.1807 4th and youngest son. He was educated at Trinity
College and admitted Kings Inns. John the chief clerk of the Insolvent Court and the
nephew of John Lloyd, Commissioner of the Insolvent Debtor's Court. He was resident
at Merrion Square and married Eliza Grace Thomas on 19.09.1832 at St Peter’s Church,
Dublin. Eliza was the 2nd daughter of Rev E Thomas of Baggot Street, Dublin. John was
elected a member of the RDS in 1843. Their lived at Herbert Street and moved to Farmley
in 1844. John died on 27.04.1853 aged 46 years at Farmley, Dundrum and is buried at
Mount Jerome. Eliza died on 28.08.1874 aged 72 years at 8 Upper Leeson Street,
formerly of Prince Edward Terrace, Blackrock and is buried at Mount Jerome. Probate
to Dania and Edwina.
1 Jane Georginia Lloyd eldest daughter born circa 1834 married James Howlin eldest
son of John Howlin of Ballyhiland, Wexford on 28.11.1855 at St Peter’s Church.
2 Edward Lloyd eldest son born circa 1835 married Dora Isabella Harvey 2nd daughter
of late John Harvey of Park, Wexford on 12.02.1861 at St Peter’s Church, Dublin.
3 John Lloyd born circa 1837 died at Herbert Street on 29.05.1844 and was buried at
Mount Jerome.
4 Dania Elizabeth Lloyd born 23.05.1839 at Herbert Street living 8 Upper Leeson Street
in 1874 died on 08.08.1921 of Soldiers Home, Piershill, Edinburgh. Confirmation Nina
Howlin.
5 Edwina Mary Lloyd 3rd daughter born circa 1840. She was Hon Superintendent of the
Soldiers’ House, Piershill, Edinburgh for 22 years prior to her death died on 29.10.1904.
6 Edwin Rickard Lloyd 2nd son born 29.10.1842 at Herbert Street married Dorothea
Eugenia Harvey eldest daughter of late Henry Robert Harvey of Kyle, Wexford on
28.11.1861 at Monkstown Church. The family were living in Clontarf in 1880.
7 William John Lloyd youngest son born 23 Nov 1843 at Herbert Street died 13.08.1876
aged 31 years late of Stoke-on-Trent. Probate to James Howlin.
8 Elizabeth Alice Lloyd youngest child born at Farmley, baptised at Taney on 11.09.1846 died
on 20.03.1855 at Farmley, Dundrum and is buried at Mount Jerome.
7 Rebecca Mary Lloyd born circa 1808 married Rev Francis Heaton Thomas on 30.07.1833 at
St Ann’s Church, Dublin.
1 Dania Thomas administered her grandmother’s will in 1878.
