John Cullen born circa 1868 in Co Dublin son of Luke and Mary Cullen. He was a gardener
living at 76 Williamstown and married Elizabeth Farrelly of 5 Boyne Street on 21.11.1897 at
St Andrews, Westland Row. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Farrelly. They
were living at Knocklyon by 1900 in a house owned by George Roberts, a local farmer.
Elizabeth died following childbirth on 07.01.1904 at Madden’s Cottages, Ballybrack.
1 Mary Cullen born circa 1898 living with her father and step mother in 1911.
2 John Cullen born circa 1899 died on 31.02.1902 aged 2½ years at 75 Williamstown.
3 Sarah Geraldine Cullen born 13.12.1900 at Knocklyon living with her father and step mother
in 1911.
4 John Joseph Cullen born 31.12.1903 at Madden Cottages died same place on 12.01.1904.
John a widower of Ballybrack married secondly Margaret Leddon of Eglington Road daughter of
Patrick Leddon on 15.06.1905 at St Mary’s Chapel, Donnybrook. By 1911 they were living at Ashton
Park and John was working for the Blair-White family.
5 Gerard Patrick Cullen born 18.04.1907 at Brooklawn, Clondalkin living with his parents in
1911.
