John Jenkinson born 12.04.1877 at Ballybrit son of John Jenkinson and Catherine Dooley. He
was a groom at Pollerton, Carlow when he married Catherine Dowling of Ballaghmoone,
Athy, Kildare at theRC Chapel at Castledermot, Co Kildare on 14.09. 1898. Catherine was the
daughter of James Dowling. The family were living at the Gatelodge of Wynnstay in 1901 and
John was working as a coachman/groom. John died at 5 Halliday Square, SCR in 16.06.1944
and Catherine died same place on 25.01.1963.
