1 Jeremiah Hackett born circa 1830 son of Kieran Hackett and Anne Donnelly. He was a
gardener of Dundrum when he married Mary Malone of Dundrum on 31.01.1869 at
Holy Cross Chapel, Dundrum. Mary was the daughter of John Malone. Jeremiah worked
at Churchtown House and lived at the gatelodge from 1870 until he died on 31.12.1902
aged 75 years at Churchtown House Lodge. Mary died on 23.02.1907 aged 78 years at
Churchtown.
1 Jeremiah John Hackett born 11.06.1870 at Churchtown House. Jeremiah a
carpenter married Catherine Radcliffe of Churchtown, born in Liverpool daughter
of Joseph Radcliffe, a jeweller on 14.08.1899 at Holy Cross Chapel, Dundrum. By
1911 the family were living in Liverpool.
1 Mary Hackett born 06.07.1901 at Holles Street Hospital of Churchtown House.
2 Anne Hackett born 04.09.1903 at Holles Street Hospital of Belfield Cottage,
Churchtown.
3 Catherine Hackett born 18.02.1907 at Churchtown.
4 Mildred Hackett born circa 1911 Liverpool.
2 Kernan Hackett born 1836 was a mason. He married Anne Rothery of 32 Leeson Park
daughter of James Rothery on 05.05.1868 at the Roman Catholic Chapel Haddington Road.
Anne died on 07.10.1881 at the Grange and is buried at St Nathi’s, Dundrum. Kernan
from Rathfarnham died on 31.11.1896 aged 60 years at the City of Dublin Hospital and is
buried at Dundrum.
1 Esther Hackett born 11.05.1868 at the Coombe Hospital of Leeson Park.
2 Mary Jane Hackett born 15.05.1870 at Harolds Grange.
3 Robert Hackett born 22.03.1872 at Harolds Grange and died circa 1881 and is
buried at St Nathi’s, Dundrum.
4 Kyran Joseph Hackett born 29.07.1873 at the Grange, Rathfarnham married Esther
Mulligan of Carrickmines daughter of Patrick Mulligan on 12.02.1893 at the Roman
Catholic Chapel in Cabinteely.
5 Anne Hackett born 13.04.1875 at Taylors Grange, Whitechurch. Annie married
Thomas Kirwan on 22.10.1903 at the Roman Catholic Chapel in Rathfarnham.
Thomas a club servant at Kildare Street Club was the son of John Kirwan.
6 James Hackett born 19.06.1877 at Harolds Grange.
7 Elizabeth Hackett born 21.02.1880 at Harolds Grange. Lizzie died of complications
following measles on 26.12.1888 aged 8 years at the workhouse.
