Charles Going Malone born 24.06.1820 of Churchtown Lodge son of Josiah and Elizabeth
Malone. He married Harriet Doyle on 22.07.1856 at the Friends Meeting Place, Sycamore Abbey.
Harriet was the only daughter of William Doyle of Cullenswood Place. Charles a wine merchant
of George's Street and Stephen's Street in Dublin. He was the owner of over 26 acres in
Churchtown, Sweetmount and Classens Bridge which included the dwelling houses of
Churchtown Park, Churchtown Lodge, Enderley and Sweetmount House. All were put up for
sale in 1868 when he was adjudged bankrupt. He died 13.08.1876 at his residence, Clarendon
House, Terenure and is buried at the Friends Cemetery, Temple Hill, Blackrock. Harriet died
02.03.1903 at Redhill, Surrey, probate to her son William.

of Glanmire, Redhill, Surrey.
2 Daughter Malone a twin stillborn 09.09.1857 at Churchtown Lodge.
3 Mary Clibborn Malone born 22.05.1859 at Sweetmount House and died 24.12.1866 aged 7½
years and is buried at Temple Hill.
4 James Doyle Malone born 12.05.1862 at Churchtown Park and died on 25.11.1866 aged 4½
years at same place.
5 Elizabeth Richenda Pirce Malone only daughter born 12.03.1864 at Churchtown Park.
Elizabeth married George Elliot Price of Buckland House son of James Elliott Price on
21.04.1898 at St Matthew’s Church, Redhill.
6 Lydia Sophia Malone born 08.11.1865 at Churchtown Park. Lydia infant daughter died on
10.10.1866 aged 1 year at Altona, Bray and is buried at Temple Hill.
7 Charles Albert Malone born 03.09.1868 at Churchtown Park. Charles married Mabel
Catherine Fry daughter of Edward Fry circa 02.06.1904 in Ipswich. Charles of 16 Bucklesham
Road, Ipswich died on 12.04.1947 at the Borough General Hospital, Ipswich. Mabel of Brook
House, Henley Road, Ipswich died on 26.06.1952.
