Charles Bowdler Fuller born 5 Nov 1822 and baptised at Epson son of John and Mary Fuller. He
married Cordelia Henrietta Fearon on the 12 Nov 1846 at Poona, Bombay, India. Cordelia was
the daughter of Major General Peter Fearon. He served in the suppression of the Indian Mutiny
and was present as the action of Kotahkeserai, the re-capture of Gwalior and received the medal
with clasp. Colonel C B Fuller RHA lived at Charlton between 1876 and 1877 while he was
commanding the Royal Horse Artillery in Ireland. He was retired by 1881 and they were living at
Ravenscroft, Bath. Cordelia died 22 Sep 1889 at Fareham.
1 Charles Fearon Fuller eldest son born 4 Jul 1848 in Bombay was a captain in the Royal
Artillery. He married Emma Eliza Lord on 5 Nov 1877 at Malegaon, Bombay. Emma was
the only child of Lieut Colonel Owen Lord.

Charles secondly married Jessie Amelia Cheesman 3 Oct 1893 at St James’, Cheltenham.
Jessie was the daughter of the late George Cheesman of St Florence, Pembrokeshire.
Charles died 14 Nov 1910 at Lockley, Cheston, Torquay and left 6k in personal estate.
He was buried at Torquay.
2 Claudine Caroline Bowdler Fuller born 20 Nov 1849 in Bombay married Major William
West Goodfellow on 15 Oct 1870 at Kirkee, Bombay. She died at Bombay on 14 Nov 1875.
3 Henry Snelson Ahmuty Fuller born 27 Mar 1851 at Karachi, Bombay. He was a captain in
the Indian Staff Corps and married Claudine Fearon on 3 Aug 1882 at St Mary’s,
Kensington. Henry died in 1907.
4 George Charles Fuller born 19 Sep 1852 Sholapur, Bombay was captain in the 3rd King’s
Own Hussars. He married Katharine Bowen-Spicer on 23 Jan 1891 at St Mary’s Bryanstone
Square. Katharine was the only child of the late Captain G Bowen-Spicer, RN and of
Newcastle.
5 Edward William Heatty Fuller born 27 Jul 1854 at Belgaum.
6 Julia Mary McLeod Fuller born circa 1855 at Brighton living with her parents in 1881. She
married George Earn Murray on 25 Apr 1889 at St Jude’s, Southsea, London. George was
the son of the late Captain V Murray (Dunmore Branch) and was with the 96th Regiment.
7 Percy Fuller born 22 Aug 1860 in Bombay joined the 65th regiment. He married Edith Mary
Robinson on 2 Aug 1882 at St Nicholas’, Guilford.
8 Cordelia Isabel Fuller second daughter born 1864 at Ramsgate, Kent. She married Captain
John Desborough Pearson Walford-Gosnall, VB Essex Regiment at Bentley, Sussex on
14 Jun 1888. They were living at Mount Maskall, Boreham, Chelmsford in 1901.
9 Constance Heatley Fuller born Richmond, Surrey on 3 Nov 1867. She ran a nursing home
and was a spinster in 1921.
10 William Algernon Fuller born 2 Oct 1871 in Bengal. He was living at Groft, Chemnis,
Montgomeryshire and married Ada Emma Gater on 12 Apr 1907 at St Jude’s Kensington.
Ada was the widow of Colonel Charles Hely.
It appears that Charles secondly married Jane Gibson in 1890. Charles was a widow living at
Walworth house, Cheltenham in 1901. He thirdly married Elizabeth Silvestra Monypenny in 1901.
Charles died 25 Aug 1904 at Ealing.
