Daniel Dempsey (Dimpsey) born circa 1860 son of James Dempsey. He was a tailor of
Driminidy when he married Hanora (Nora) Collins of Drimindy on 21.04.1884 at Drimoleague,
Skibbereen, Cork. Hannah was the daughter of Cornelius Collins. Daniel died 14.04.1937 at
Tooneicht, Skibbereen, the informant her daughter Julia. Nora died 24.02.1957 aged 99 at
Drimoleague, Cork, her daughter Julia the informant.

2 Timothy Dempsey born 03.09.1886 at Bauravilla. Timothy was a tailor in 1901.
3 Ellen Dempsey born 20.04.1888 at Drimindy, Drinagh.
4 Hanoria Dempsey born 25.10.1889 at Drimindy, Drinagh.
5 Hannah Dempsey born 27.05.1891 at Drimindy, Drinagh. Hannah was a housemaid at
Yapton, Monkstown in 1911 for the Murphy family. Hannah married Daniel Taylor on
28.02.1922 at the Roman Catholic Church of SS Peter and Pauls, Cork. Daniel was a
widower and the son of James Taylor. Witnesses; Thomas Taylor and Hannah Dempsey.
6 Mary Dempsey born 12.04.1892 at Drimindy, Drinagh. Mary Ann worked as a laundress
for the Synott family in Glenageary in 1911.
7 Margaret Dempsey born 09.09.1895 at Drimindy, Drinagh living with her parents in 1911.
8 Catherine Dempsey born 10.11.1897 at Drimindy, Drinagh living with her parents in 1911.
9 Julia Anne Dempsey born 28.01.1899 at Drimindy, Drinagh living with her parents in 1911
and a spinster in 1957.
