John Dawson born 21 Oct 1866 at Craans, Co Carlow.  He was the son of John Dawson and
Mary Coe.  He was a gardener in Dundrum and married Florence Andrews on 2 Sep 1896 at
St Andrews Church of Ireland, Lucan.  Florence was living in Lucan and was the daughter of
William Andrews, a coachman/butler and his wife Jane O’Brien.  Her parents worked at Lucan
House for the Colthurst-Vesey family.  John and Florence lived at Gledswood Lodge and John
worked as a gardener for the Robertson family from 1901 until his death on 3 Jun 1937.

1             William John Dawson born circa 1904 in Co Dublin was an auditor.  He died unmarried
               on 13 Feb 1925 at Baggot Street Hospital.  He was driving his motorcycle at Stepaside,
               swerved to avoid two girls playing on the road and was thrown from the motorcycle.
  
2             Samuel Richard Dawson born 16 April 1906 at Gledswood Lodge died same place on
               28 May 1906.
