Edward Davey born circa 1832 son of Edward Davey. He was a widower of Little Ship Street
when he married Elizabeth James on 07.02.185 at the Parish Church of St Bride, Dublin.
Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas James. Elizabeth died at 75 Gordon Street, the
informant her son Edward if 4 Bayview Terrace. Edward died 25.10.1912 at 1 Bayview Terrace,
the informant was Mary Davey.
1 Edward Davey born circa 1862. Edward, a fisherman married Susan Blackmore
daughter of Samuel Blackmore on 02.01.1888 at the Parish Church of St Matthew,
Irishtown. In 1901 he was on a house ship in Kingstown Harbour with his brothers
James and Robert.
2 Robert Davey born 06.03.1864 at 3 Thomas Street, Ringsend. In 1901 on a ship in
Kingstown Harbour with brothers Edward and James. Robert Davey a boat man married
Elizabeth Stewart nee Hanna, a widow and on 24.08.1905 at Antrim Road Baptist
Church, Belfast.
3 Elizabeth Davey born 27.11.1865 at Thorncastle Street, Ringsend. Elizabeth married
Herbert J Bartlett a fisherman of 13 York Terrace son of William Bennett Bartlett a smack
owner on 14.09.1891 at the Methodist Church, Sandymount. Witnesses James Davey and
Margaret McCoy.
4 James Davey born 12.01.1868 at 17 Thorncastle Street, Ringsend baptised Irishtown. James
a fisherman married Margaret McCoy of Hanora Street daughter of Samuel McCoy on
20.06.1892 at the Methodist Church, Sandymount. Witnesses Robert Davey and Sarah
Davey. In 1901 he was on a ship in Kingstown Harbour with his brothers Edward and Robert.
5 Sarah Anne Davey born 15.08.1872 at 21 Thorncastle Street, Ringsend. Sarah was working
for the Brown family in 1901 at Rockville, Newtownpark. Sarah married James Kinnear a
bookkeeper of 13 Ellesmere Terrace son of David Kinnear on 15.04.1902 at the Methodist
Church, Sandymount. Witness M Davey. In 1911 the family lived in Howth.

Abraham Memory, a sailor of 11 Thorncastle Street son of William R Memory on 26.09.1899 at
the Parish Church of St Matthew. Witnesses Robert Davey and Sarah Davey.
