William Walker married Elizabeth Chamberlen
William Walker eldest son of the Rev John Walker of Kiltail or Dysart Enes in the Queen's
County and Mary Hovenden. He married Elizabeth Chamberlen. Elizabeth was the eldest
daughter of Peter Chamberlen, MD of London and sister of Drs Paul and Hugh Chamberlen.
William was a colonel of Tankardstown.
1 William Walker eldest son disinherited by his father.
2 Sir Hovenden Walker second son born circa 1666 led the failed expedition to capture
Quebec in 1711. He died in Dublin in January 1726.
3 Chamberlain Walker third son married Catherine. He was a doctor and an accoucheur.
He delivered the daughter (Lady Harriet FitzRoy) of Charles FitzRoy, 2nd Duke of
Grafton and Lord Lieutenant of Ireland in 1723 and for this he was knighted. Sir
Chamberlain Walker died in 1731. Lady Walker relict of Sir Chamberlain Walker, Bart
died at Rosconnell, the home of her son the Rev Chamberlain Walker of Rosconnell
circa January 1773.
1 Chamberlain Walker took Holy orders. He married Catherine (Kitty) Bingham on
10 Feb 1745 in the Parish of St Peters and St Kevin’s. Catherine was the brother
of John Bingham. She was described as being of great birth, remarkable beauty
and with a fortune of three thousand pounds. He was appointed rector of
Rosconnell in Queens County in 1753 and also of Ballyroan in 1756. He died in
August 1773 at Rosconnell. Catherine died at the home of her son in Merrion
Street in 1787.
1 Chamberlain Walker born March 1746 christened at St Peter’s took Holy
orders in 1768 and was rector of Rosconnell when he married Mary
Glascock in 10 Aug 1776 at St Luke’s Church. Mary was the only daughter
of the late Walter Glascock. The moved to Dublin circa 1787 and one of his
daughters died at Upper Merrion Street on 31 Mar 1812. Rev Chamberlain
died in 1812.

Trinity and was admitted Kings Inns. He married Mary Bingham on
8 Apr 1800 at Nassau Street. He was living at Merrion Street in 1812.
He was appointed secretary to the Commissioners of Charitable
Donations and to the Board of Education in 1815. He was appointed
Vicar General to Leighlin and Ferns in 1817. They lived at Dawson’s
Court circa 1822. He was living in Dublin in 1841.
1 John Thomas Walker born circa 1812 living in Jersey with his
wife Martha and their four children in 1841.

Edmund William Stewart at St John’s Fulham on 1 Oct 1866.

3 Anne Jane Walker married Rev Arthur Leighton Irwin in 1841 in
Jersey.
3 Selina Maria Warker born August 1780 at Rosconnell, Queen’s County.
4 Bingham Walker born November 1782 at Rosconnell, Queen’s County.
A Trinity student he died at Nassau Street on 8 Aug 1800. He was buried
at St Ann’s.
5 William Hoven Walker born March 1785 at Rosconnell, Queen’s County
married Rebecca Irwin on June 1813 at Kilmurray Church, Limerick.
Rebecca was the daughter of the late James Irwin of Galway. He was
with the Royal Navy and they were living in Jersey in 1841 with their four
children. He died on Jersey on 12 Sep 1843. Rebecca died same place in 1844.

3 Catherine Walker mentioned in her father’s will of 1773.
2 Catherine Walker only daughter married Edmund Lewis in December 1743.
Edmund was the heir apparent of Michael Lewis of Tullagory in Co Kildare.
