Catherine Fay born circa 1855 in Co Meath was working for the Lawder family as house/
parlourmaid in 1901, she continued working for the family and moved with them to Mount
Temple in Blackrock.  She died a spinster on 11 Sep 1920 at Mount Temple, Rosanna Lawder
the informant.  She was buried at Deansgrange.  The family placed a death notice in the Irish
Times, noting her as being for many years the friend and faithful servant of Rosanna Lawder.
