Patrick Joseph Brown born circa 1862 in Co Dublin son of William Brown. He was a law clerk
of 40 Arnott Street and married Harriett Wright of 45 Upper Camden Street on 10.09.1883 at
St Kevin's Church. Harriett was the daughter of John Wright. They lived at Bellevue, Windy
Arbour and were trying to rent out some of the house as it was too large for them. They
lived at No 1 Campfield Terrace from 1892 to 1903. Patrick was a managing clerk to a
solicitor. By 1911 the family were living at 159 Rathgar Road and eight of their ten children
had survived. Patrick died 28.1.1934 at 159 Rathgar Road, the informant J Brown. Harriet
died at 3 Spencer Villas, Glenageary, her daughter Elizabeth the informant. Both are buried
at Glasnevin.
1 William Brown eldest son born 29.05.1884 at 5 St James Terrace and died on 29.01.1896
aged 11 years at 1 Campfield Terrace, Dundrum and is buried at Glasnevin.
2 Elizabeth Mary (Jessie) Cecilia Brown born circa 1886 died 17.10.1974.
3 Ellen Mary (Eileen) Brown born Dec 1888 at Belview, Windy Arbour, Dundrum.
4 Harriett Mary Brown born 29.11.1890 at Bellvue Terrace, Windy Arbour, Dundrum.
5 Agnes Mary Brown born 10.09.1892 at 1 Campfield Terrace, Dundrum. Agnes died
11.09.1960 and is buried at Glasnevin.
6 Patrick Edward Brown born 21.05.1894 at 1 Campfield Terrace, Dundrum. Patrick a dental
surgeon and a captain in the RAMC married Winifred Alice Fennell née Warner, a widow
and daughter of William Frederick Warner on 25.04.1923 in India.
7 Florence Mary Browne born 13.08.1895 at 1 Campfield Terrace, Dundrum. Florence of
Rathgar Road married Edward Henry Barry a clerk of Belgrave Hotel son of Robert Barry on
27.04.1927 at the Roman Catholic Church of the Three Patrons, Rathmines. Witnesses
William Smyth and Eli Jessie Brown.
8 Stephen Edward Brown born 19.01.1898. Stephen a dental surgeon, LDS married Jessie
Millett in 1926 in Portsmouth. Stephen died 25.04.1975 at 34 Maidstone Road, Rochester.
9 Valentine Vincent Brown born 12.02.1900 at Campfield Terrace, Dundrum. Valentine a
physician, LRCP married Geunor Elizabeth Morgan in 1938 in Glasgow. Valentine died on
13.03.1967 at Manor Hospital, Walsall.

Patrick Joseph Brown born circa 1862 in Co Dublin son of William Brown. He was a law clerk
