James Lyttleton born circa 1823 was a glass, china merchant and pawnbroker of Thomas
Street, Limerick. He married Hannah Cleary of Dungarvan on 22.11.1848 at Dungarvan.
Hannah was the sister of Most Rev James Vincent Cleary, Bishop of Kingston, Canada.
Hannah died 14.05.1884 at 117 George's Street, Limerick, her son John the informant.
James died 03.02.1897 at 25 Hardwick Street, Dublin. Both are buried at St Lawrence's
Cemetery.

merchant of George's Street, Limerick son of John Carr on 06.09.1876 at the
Roman Catholic Church of St Michael, Limerick. The family were living in Glasgow
in 1901 and Antrim in 1911.
2 Thomas Vincent Lyttleton baptised 18.06.1856 at Limerick. Thomas a retired
commercial traveller lived at 33 Hardwicke Street in 1901.
3 Mary Lyttleton baptised 21.08.1859 at Limerick.
4 James Lyttleton baptised 12.07.1861 at Limerick.
5 John Lyttleton baptised 29.01.1863 at Limerick.
6 Rose Hannah Lyttleton born on 16.09.1866 and baptised at St Michael’s Limerick.
Rose of Crehelp, Dunlavin, Wicklow married George Bowden from Galway son of
John Bowden on 31.01.1906 at St Mark’s Church, Dublin. Witnesses Henrietta S Fisher
and James O’Brien. George Bowden was a groom aged 17 years at Chesterfield, Cross
Avenue, Blackrock in 1901. In 1911 they lived at house number 14 in Dundrum.
George a coachman of Blaney Lodge, Skerries died of tuberculosis on 02.05.1917
aged 33 years at the Royal Hospital, Donnybrook.
