Thomas Fell White son of Lieutenant William Grove White, RN and Rebecca Green. He was a
solicitor of 21 Georges Place, Dublin and married Juliet Cullin on 21.08.1521 at St George’s
Church. Juliet was the daughter of George Blair Cullin of 6 Newcomen Terrace. Juliet Maria
Cullin died 09.09.1860 at Howth and is buried at Mount Jerome. Thomas died 11.03.1872 at 53
Mountjoy Square, Dublin and is buried with his wife.
1 William James Grove White baptised 24.11.1852 at St George’s Church. William, a
solicitor married Emily Maria Adelaide Wilson daughter of William Wilson of 59
Pembroke Road on 12.04.1877 at St Stephen’s Church. William died on 01.03.1915
aged 62 years at 18 Elgin Road and Emily died on 29.03.1925 aged 75 years at same
place and they are buried at Mount Jerome.
2 Juliet Maria White baptised 27.02.1854 at St George’s Church.
3 Richard Blair White younger son baptised 18 .01.1857 at St George’s Church. Richard,
a solicitor married Emily Maude Nichols on 25.09.1886 at the Parish Church Heavitree
near Exeter by Rev J Grasett, brother-in-law. Emily was the second daughter of the late
Charles Nichols of Dunedin, New Zealand. They lived at Ashton Park from 1891.
Richard’s aunt Harriet Isabella Cullen was living with the family in 1911. Richard died on
10.04.1927 aged 70 years at 33 Leeson Park. Emily died on 31.12.1955 aged 90 years at
the Adelaide Hospital late of 33 Leeson Park and they are buried at Mount Jerome.
1 Emily Beatrice Blair White born 23.11.1888 at 54 Upper Leeson Street. Emily
married Stephen Earle son of Rev Walter Earle of Redgate House, Reigate on
11.09.1913 at Monkstown Parish Church.
2 (Charles) Thomas Fell Blair White born 19.12.1889 at 54 Upper Leeson Street. He
was educated at St Michael's College in Tenbury. He served with the 2nd Life
Guards during WW1. Charles, a solicitor of Aston Park married Patricia Margaret
Scanlan on 19.06.1923 at the Friends Meeting House, Monkstown. Patricia was
the daughter of Patrick Francis Scanlan and Sarah Alice Dixon of Richmond Park,
Monkstown. Charles was a partner of White & White, solicitors of Ormond Quay
and they lived at Eglington Park, Dun Laoghaire. Charles died 03.10.1961 at
Monkstown Hospital. Patricia died 19 Dec 1968 at Englington Park.
3 Arthur Blair White born 03.07.1891 at Ashton Park. Arthur, a Lieutenant in the
RFA married Rosetta Phoebe Newell daughter of Robert J Newell on 31.12.1918
at Monkstown Parish Church. Arthur was a civil servant by 1921.
1 Rachel Margery White born at 21.03.1921 at Monkstown Hospital.
4 John Henry Jack Blair White born 18.02.1894 at Ashton Park. Captain John Henry
married Rabie Muriel Sessions elder daughter of Herbert Sessions of Quedgeley
Court, Gloucester on 25.08.1938 at Quedgeley Church near Gloucester.
5 Maude Eileen Blair White born 26.11.1896 at Ashton Park.
6 Cyril Walter Blair White born 21.02.1902 at Ashton Park.
4 Rebecca White born 04.02.1860 baptised on 16.03.1860 at St George’s Church.
Rebecca married Herbert Sessions youngest son of Jesse Sessions of Gloucester on
29.08.1889 at St Bartholomew’s Parish Church.
1 Rabie Muriel Sessions elder daughter born circa 1899 married John Henry Blair
White on 25.08.1938 at Quedgeley Church near Gloucester.
