Benjamin Taylor was admitted attorney in 1754. He married Elizabeth Lamprey on 3 Jun 1755.
Elizabeth was the daughter of Arthur Lamprey, wax chandler of Ship Street. He resigned as
clerk of the Court of Conscience and was appointed under sheriff of Dublin in 1866. He was
living at Big Ship Street in 1773 and was clerk of the Guild of Merchants and also acted at town
clerk. He was resident at York Street in 1779. He lived at the Cottage Villa, Newtown Park in
1780 and retired in 1789. He died circa 1790.
