Thomas Mackey Scully eldest son of James Scully of Maudlins, Co Kildare and his wife Maria
Mackey. He married Elizabeth Walsh, daughter of John Walsh a Merchant of Philipsburgh Lane,
Summerhill, Dublin. Thomas was a barrister at Law Grays Inn 1833 and was called to the Irish
bar in 1837. They lived at Airfield from 1830 to 1851. Thomas was a supporter of O’Connell
and a member of the Loyal National Repeal Association.
1 John James Scully eldest son of the late Thomas Mackey Scully died 07.02.1857 of
consumption on his passage home from New Orleans.
2 Edward Thomas Scully baptised 1835 Booterstown.
3 Elizabeth Victoria Scully married Thomas Dowling.
4 Catherine Amelia Scully born circa 1838, a milliner died at her lodgings 19 Upper Rutland
Street 23.01.1886.
5 Eleanor Scully baptised 05.11.1838 at Booterstown married Thomas Wade.
6 Anna Josephine Scully baptised 18.06.1840 at Booterstown She was living at Buckingham
Street married Dudley Hanley,Staff Surgeon of Templemore on 22.06.1860 at the
Pro-Cathedral, Dublin. Josephine died on 01.06.1874 at Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock.
Dudley died on 03.04.1904 late of Farnham House, Finglas, aged 80 years.

at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, Dublin.
