Dunedin, New Zealand on 07.10.1884 at the Parish Church, Rathfarnham. Annie died on 27.10.1902 in Mayfair,
London aged 41 years. George then married Emily Constance Wilson born 14.02.1881 on 20.02.1909 in the
Parish Church, Tullow. George died on 08.11.1924 aged 67 years at Ardlui, Stillorgan.

Los Angeles.
2 Alan Gordon Mitchell born 09.03.1887 at Islington Rathgar and died on 08.10.1933 aged 46 late of
Stud farm, Hamwood, Dunboyne.
3 Francis Sydney Mitchell (Lieut) RAMC born circa 1889 killed on active service on 15.02.1916 in France
and is buried in Military Cemetery on the Menin Road near Ypres. Memorial window in All Saints Church,
Blackrock.

3 Mary Mitchell elder daughter born circa 1864 married Edward Harcourt Skrine son of Henry Duncan Skrine JP
of Claverton Manor, Bath on 31.08.1889 at Zion Church.

of Rostrevor Terrace on 10.09.1889 at Zion Church.

The Mitchell Family were Cigar and Wine Merchants on Sackville Street until 1916. They lived at Ardlui until 1925.
George Mitchell of Ardlui was Vicar’s Churchwarden in 1904 at All Saints Church.
George Mitchell of Sackville Street a commissioner of the Rathmines and Rathgar Township had been cruising for
two months on the coast of Norway and had visited Hamburgh where he contracted typhus fever and died shortly
afterwards in 1888.
