1 Thomas Keogh born circa 1850 in County Dublin was the son of Thomas & Julia Keogh.
He married Elizabeth White at Booterstown on 6 Feb 1876. Elizabeth was the daughter
of Peter and Maria White of Galloping Green. Elizabeth died on 7 April 1883 and was
buried at Deansgrange. Thomas then married Catherine Cassidy at Booterstown on
26 Feb 1884. Catherine was from County Cavan and was the daughter of John and
Catherine Cassidy. Thomas died 2 Jun 1923 at Loughlinstown and Catherine died
20 Apr 1910. Her brother Thomas also lived with the family, he died in 27 Jan 1923 and
all three are buried together in Deansgrange.
1 Julia Keogh born circa 1884 Stillorgan was a dressmaker, she married Matthew
McCann of Kenny's Court Blackrock on 25 Nov 1906 at St Laurences Church,
Kilmacud. Matthew McCann was the son of Hugh McCann.

2 Thomas Keogh born circa 1886 Stillorgan was a farm labourer and married Mary Clancy
15 Feb 1914. Mary of Barrett Street, Kingstown was the daughter of Patrick Clancy,
a sailor.

3 John Keogh born circa 1887, Stillorgan was a farm labourer. He married Mary Cahill
on 19 Sep 1911 at St Bridget's Church, Cabinteeley. Mary, a servant living at
Kill O'The Grange was the daughter of Timothy Cahill, a farmer.
4 James Keogh born circa 1888, Stillorgan married Catherine (Katie) Robinson on 12 Jan 1914
at Kilmacud Church. Catherine was born 17 Aug 1887 at Stillorgan, she was the daughter of
James Robinson & Julia Cantwell. James Robinson had moved from Wicklow to Dublin and
married Julia on 8 Jan 1882 at Holycross, Dundrum. They had 6 children but three died
young.
Catherine's two sisters also married locally. Her sister Annie married Thomas Leonard of
Kilmacud and her sister Ellen married George McGuirke of Kenny's Court, Blackrock and
lived at Neilstown (Kilmacud).
James was a groom in 1911, and a van driver in 1914. He joined the British army
14 Sep 1914. His short service record records him as a labourer aged 23 years and 30 days
born in Dundrum and and he is issued Regiment No 5263 and attached to the Irish Guards.
He gives the date of his marriage as 2 Jun 1913 some 6 months before the civil registration
is dated and gives his daughter's date of birth as 10 Mar 1914. He was was sent to Caterham
arriving there on the 16 Sep 1914. He was discharched from the army 9 days later as 'not being
likely to become an efficient soldier'. He got no gratuity but managed to get some dental work
done on the 21st September.
They were living at 21 Kilmacud Road when Catherine died on 25 May 1925 and was buried
in Deansgrange with her father who had died while living with her on 30 Oct 1924. James
moved to 14 St Lawrences Park and died at Loughlinstown hospital on 6 Jul 1966 and is buried
at Deansgrange with his wife and father in law.

5 Christopher (Christy) Keogh born circa 1891 Stillorgan married Lucy McKenna at Kilmacud
Church on 4 Feb 1912. Lucy was the daughter of James McKenna and Roseann Reilly of
Kilmacud, she was born in Windy Arbour and was a national school teacher. Her father James
McKenna was son of Andrew Canna and a carpenter from Kilpeddar, her mother had worked as
servant in Bray Main Street.

6 Laurence Keogh born 1893 Stillorgan, a dairyman married Mary Winstaney, a laundress at
Holy Cross Church, Dundrum on 20 Feb 1916. Mary living at 30 Millmount cottages, Windy
Arbour was the daughter of Henry Winstanley and Catherine (Kate) Clarke. Henry had been in
the army and then worked as a coachman. Laurence and Mary lived at 11 Kilmacud Road and
Mary's mother lived with them and died at 11 Kilmacud Road in 1930.
